Centrifugal pumps: our specialist field
The first true centrifugal pump was designed at the end of the sixteenth century by Denis Papin. The centrifugal pumps of today are more powerful and user-friendly. They are also multi-deployable. Examples include the extremely high quality Gorman-Rupp pumps, which in addition to other centrifugal pump types are included in the broad range of Wavo Pompen. Petrol, diesel or electrically driven, and available from 1 to 14 inches.
A centrifugal pump is a self-priming waste water pump or a dry self-priming pump. Wavo Pompen also sells and rents dry self-priming coarse waste water pumps. Centrifugal pumps are especially suitable for pumping out sewage water or (coarse) waste water, e.g. for a bypass for a sewer system or to dry out building pits. Wavo Pompen will be pleased to advise you on other application options for the centrifugal pump at our establishment in Leeuwarden or Culemborg.
